Our Vision and Mission
Vision of the Department of International Relations
In light of the nature of the international relations discipline, the vision of our department is to graduate individuals who are educated at universal academic
standards, capable of elevating their sense of social responsibility to a leadership level, and empowered to have a say in international diplomacy.
Our mission is to cultivate researchers and multilingual individuals with an international perspective who can analyze global issues at a theoretical level and generate creative solutions.
In addition to a multidisciplinary social sciences foundation, the department conducts research focused on international relations concepts and diversified area studies that ensure professional specialization; the findings of these studies are directly integrated into our educational programs.
Consequently, the department’s primary founding objective-to train qualified diplomats and bureaucrats for public institutions-has expanded over time to encompass international organizations and academic institutions.
