Double Major Program (DMP)
Which departments offer Double Major opportunities for International Relations students?
International Relations students can pursue a Double Major with the Department of Political Science and the Faculty of Communication.
What are the requirements for a DMP application?
Students who have successfully completed all courses taken up to the semester of application and rank within the top 20% of their class with a GPA of at least 3.00 out of 4.00 are eligible to apply. Students who have a GPA of at least 3.00 but are not in the top 20% may also apply if their university entrance score is equal to or higher than the base score of the target program in the relevant year.
When can one apply for a DMP?
Applications can be submitted at the beginning of the 3rd semester at the earliest and the 5th semester at the latest of the primary major program.
To which administrative unit should the application be submitted?
Applications are made to the Office of the Dean of the Faculty where the primary major is conducted, along with the application form and a transcript showing all courses and grades until the application semester.
Key information regarding the DMP education process:
- To graduate from the Double Major program, a minimum GPA of 2.75 out of 4.00 is required.
- During the DMP, a student's GPA may fall below 2.50 out of 4.00 only once. If the GPA falls below 2.50 for a second time, the student is dismissed from the second major program.
- Students who do not take courses from the second major for two consecutive semesters will be dismissed from the program.

Minor Program (MP)
Which departments offer Minor opportunities for International Relations students?
Our students can enroll in Minor programs in the Department of Political Science, the Department of Business Administration, the Faculty of Communication, and the Department of Industrial Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
What are the requirements for a Minor application?
The student must have successfully completed all compulsory courses in the major program up to the semester of application. The GPA at the time of application must be at least 2.60 out of 4.00. Students currently enrolled in a Double Major program cannot apply for Minor programs.
When can one apply for a Minor?
Applications can be submitted at the beginning of the 3rd semester at the earliest and the 6th semester at the latest of the primary major program.
To which administrative unit should the application be submitted?
Applications are made to the Office of the Dean of the Faculty where the major program is conducted, with the application form and transcript.
Key information regarding the Minor education process:
- Performance in the Minor program does not affect graduation from the primary major.
- A minimum major GPA of 2.40 out of 4.00 is required throughout the Minor education. Failure to meet this requirement results in dismissal from the Minor.
- Except for students in exchange programs, those who do not take courses for two consecutive semesters will be dismissed from the Minor.
What document is awarded upon successful completion?
Students receive a "Certificate of Achievement" (Minor Certificate) provided they fulfill the graduation requirements of their primary major. This document is not a substitute for a diploma. A separate transcript for Minor courses is also issued.
